CU Schools Quiz

February 16th, 2016

The Annual Credit Union Schools Quiz was held on Friday night (29th January 2015) and we had a fantastic turnout.

All teams performed well but the night belonged to St Oliver Plunkett’s National School with both of their teams winning.  It was hard luck for Scoil Eanna, Ballybay whose teams came second in both competitions.  The winning teams will now go forward to the regional stage to be held on Sunday 28th February in the Nuremore Hotel, Carrickmacross.

We wish them the best of luck.

Credit Union Schools Quiz

January 31st, 2015

The Credit Union Schools Quiz was held last night (Friday 30th January) and it was great to have such a good turnout despite the weather conditions.  All teams performed well but the night belonged to St Oliver Plunkett’s National School with both of their teams winning.  It was hard luck for Scoil Mhuire, Latton whose B team only missed out by 1 question in the tie-breaker round.  The winning teams will now go forward to the regional stage to be held at the end of February.  We wish them the best of luck.
